MyGTCS is your personalised and secure web portal from GTC Scotland that's only available to teachers and college lecturers with Provisional or Full Registration with GTC Scotland. All information is stored securely on our database until such time as a user chooses to unsubscribe or de-register. What can I do in MyGTCS? View and update your personal details. View and contribute to any portfolios, profiles or reports. View newsletter subscriptions. Gain access to additional services provided by GTC Scotland. MyGTCS Support Password Resets If you forget your password, please use the password reset link on the MyGTCS login page. If you do not receive the password reset email, check your email junk/spam folder. Your mailbox may be at capacity, If so, please free up space in your mailbox and request another password reset. If you can no longer access the email account that you have used for your MyGTCS record, please contact us. If you still haven't received the password reset use our contact form 'Invalid username or password' messageThis happens if a password is mis-spelt or capitals have been missed etc. Also make sure you are not using a forward slash, spaces or full stops. 'We have not been able to verify your username, password or Date of birth' messageUse our contact form stating the error. Forgotten your username? If you have forgotten your username, please use our contact form. You will be asked to provide the answers to some security questions. Refresh your browser to see system updates In order to see any recent changes to our systems, we recommend that you carry out a hard refresh (holding Control key and F5 at the same time) of your browser before using the system. Professional Update Engagement in the Professional Update process is a requirement for registration with us and impacts all current registrants. The Professional Update sign-off process occurs on a 5-yearly cycle. Profile System If you are involved in the Teacher Induction Scheme - as a probationer, supporter, mentor or headteacher - then you do not need to register for a MyGTCS account; an account has automatically been created for you. Supporters Probationers will get access to their profile any time from mid August to mid September. If you don't have access by mid September, please contact your local authority manager. Guidance notes are available within the Profile section of MyGTCS. You will gain access to this area once your local authority probation manager has assigned you to your probationer(s). Create a MyGTCS account Do you need to register with GTC Scotland? Before creating a MyGTCS account, you need to successfully register with us. Please read the information regarding applying for registration with GTC Scotland. Are you already registered with GTC Scotland? If you have not received an email about the creation of your MyGTCS, please use our contact form and include your registration number and date of birth. Are you a Student teacher?
