Password resets
If you forget your password, please use the password reset link on the MyGTCS login page.
If you do not receive the password reset email, check your email junk/spam folder. You may also wish to check that your mailbox is not at capacity. If it is then please first resolve this issue, before requesting another password reset. If you still haven't received the password reset use our contact form.
If you are unable to receive a password reset due to no longer being able to access the email account that you have used for your MyGTCS record and are unable to reset your password via the registered mobile number, please contact us.
“Invalid username or password” error message
This happens if a password is misspelt or capitals have been missed etc. Make sure you are not using a forward slash, spaces or full stops.
“We have not been able to verify your username, password or date of birth” message
Please use our contact form, stating the error.
Forgotten your username?
For those accessing MyGTCS with a username (such as a non-teacher line manager or Student Placement System user), this should be in a format of NM1234 or STR12345.
If you have forgotten your username, please use our contact form. You will be asked to provide the answers to some security questions.
Refresh your browser to see system updates
In order to see any recent changes to our systems, we recommend that you carry out a hard refresh (holding the control key and F5 at the same time on Windows, or Cmd and shift and then press R on a Mac) of your browser before using the system. This will enable all styling changes to take effect.
You should also regularly delete your browser's Temporary Internet Files. Read a guide on how to delete temporary internet files.
